Teemu Asunmaa is leader in FRC points before Joensuu. Almost 170 drivers participating to Itäralli! Last winter FRC rally will be driven 29.2 in Joensuu. 166 drivers will participate to traditional Easter Finland rally roads. Many drivers from abroad is also with and try to challenge Finnish drivers in fast and technical special stages. Almost all drivers from FRC series will be in Itäralli, seems that only Eerik Pietarinen is missing. Finnish Rally Championship Series continues in Vaakuna Rally Mikkeli and also Itäralli is coming soon The Finnish Rally Championship series will continue this weekend at the Mikkeli SM Vaakuna Rally, with more than 130 drivers. Teemu Asunmaa, who finished last in the SM1 class, starts at Mikkeli as the leader of series. He won in Rovaniemi when Emil Lindholm crashed into a minor driving error. Lindholm will surely go hungry for victory. Juha Salo was also in good speed before he drove off road in Arctic Rally. Lindholm and the brand new VW were unwinnable. EMIL LINDHOLM TAKES THE ARCTIC CROWN First event of Finnish Rally Championship 2019 took place in Rovaniemi in the end of January. This legendary Arctic Lapland Rally offered again freezing temperatures and very tight competition. Champ of Arctic Lapland Rally 2019 was Emil Lindholm with his co-driver Mikael Korhonen. This team dominated, as we can say, the entire rally with their brand new Volkswagen Polo GTI R5. Second place was achieved by Teemu Asunmaa followed the leader by nearly 50 seconds.
